Almost one week of school has passed. tomm's friday. TGIF!! haha this week wasnt too bad actually. its great seeing everyone again after the one month hiatus:). This week was also really slack considering that i didnt have any tutorials except for one module. Ended lessons at 945am today, and also tomm! Even though it sucks having to wake up at 6am, to travel all the way down to the island (pulau ntu) just for one introductory lecture, im not complaining.haha better enjoy it while we can pple!
i'm seriously considering staying in hall this sem. 4 8:30 days in a week is just too much considering my nocturnal habits. And of course, the idea of complete autonomy is highly appealing. i can go back to hall and sleep in between lessons too!hahah i cant always be sleeping on boons' roomie's bed! Eun's also moved out of her single room alr so ive got one less hall room to crash. But there are cons as well. Eating school food 3 mealsX5days a week. Doing laundry. Shared toilets. Having to clean your own hall room. Having to clean the hall toilet (ugh), depending on which hall i stay. Having to take part in hall stuff to earn points. Don't know if i can study well in hall too. This sem's especially crucial, cuz 1st year grades determine whether i can make it for exchange program, and also double major.
Anyway, i think i prefer my modules last sem! i mean, 106 was quite ok even though i dont really like public speaking. 101 and 102 were interesting and i liked them even though they were the heavier modules. 104 i didnt attend 80% of lectures so that was pretty slack for me heh.816 was the only one i couldnt stand.Thank goodness that's over and done with!!
But this sem, i only like 107! Basic media writing. Oh and my elective, biz finance. The other core modules seem too technical! im a computer noob so i forsee trouble with 108. The tutorial handbook's going to be my means of survival. im not looking forward to the website part, but filming our own movie sounds pretty cool. Getting to push the limits as to how liberal shaun how is (self proclaimed) should prove to be interesting. Prior 108 projects have included CS's own brokeback couple, excessive orgasmic noises, and a horror flick starring a serial killer dressed in a raincoat. hahaha
oh tomm's jiarong and Ben's 21st celebration! HAPPY BIRTHDAY you guys!:D Man, i feel old.
